Portfolio Presentation
Photo 1
Looking at this photo, the compositional element that is most apparent is line. There is also many aspects of texture as seen
by the scales on the snake as well as the moss on the rock. When I edited this photo, I adjusted clarity to make the texture more defined and levels to increase the brightness of the photo because it was taken on my phone. This photo communicates nature and wildlife. |
Photo 2
I selected this photo because I duplicated layers to create a mirror image. Compositionally, there is repetition of circles and lines, pattern, and a focal point in the center of the image. To take this photo I had the camera set on 6 seconds (shutter speed) and a large depth of field.(aperture/depth of field).

Photo 3
This photo was taken for the aperture assignment.
What I like about this photo is how it is blurry in the back and more focused in the front as well as the pink lighting coming from the left side. My point of view was looking down at the dice on the table. The photo Follows the rule of thirds because there is nothing in the exact middle and there are dice scattered in the photo. The depth of field is shallow. The ISO was set to around 800. |
